Awesome Job Story Pirates!!!

Beautiful Leigh (who plays Alicia) is a Story Pirate in NYC - she wasn’t in this because she’s teching for another show in Portland, Maine, but much love and congrats to NYC Story Pirates for an awesome job - give it a listen!

(Also Brittany Anne Oman who appears in Episode 1 is also a NYC Story Pirate!)

The Story Pirates take stories written by kids and turn them into musical theater. For the State of the Union 2012, the Brian Lehrer Show asked our audience to answer the question:
“What would you say if you were addressing the country?”

The Story Pirates compiled the answers and some responses from their own workshops - with kids from ages 6 to 17 - and here are the results. Take a listen!

We worked so hard on this and I’m so proud of it. Give it a listen, won’t you?
